History

Karol Meat Plant was established in 2000. However, two years prior, the founders of the company, Ewa and Jan Brodawka, decided to create a small deli wholesaler in Biała Podlaska. The growing success of the wholesaler led to the opening of their own production plant in Strzakły, near Międzyrzec Podlaski. Hard work allowed ZM Karol to develop dynamically and compete with industry leaders.

ZM Karol's History - Breakthrough Moments

Important milestones for us included the opening of an ecological wastewater treatment plant at the facility in 2009, as well as an investment in a high-capacity freezer in 2011. The freezer enabled the storage of up to 2000 tons of goods. We gained new opportunities for development in 2017 when we opened a new section of the plant, which facilitated modern chicken processing. Another significant event for us was the year 2019 when the plant's propulsion system was changed to a more environmentally friendly one, currently fueled by blue fuel.
